1. About StudyBrite
StudyBrite is the trading name of Chandni Josson, a sole trader based in England. StudyBrite publishes independent educational resources and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FSCE examination provider, any school or any local authority.
Customer support is available at hello@studybrite.co.uk.
2. Who may purchase
You must be aged 18 or over to purchase from the StudyBrite digital shop. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are purchasing as a consumer unless StudyBrite has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
3. Digital products
StudyBrite sells immediately downloadable educational PDF workbooks. No physical item is supplied through the digital shop. Product pages describe the workbook, intended age range, format, contents and educational focus. Please review that information and the available previews before buying.
StudyBrite takes reasonable care to describe each product accurately. Minor differences caused by devices, screens, PDF software or printers do not by themselves mean that a product is defective.
4. Prices and international purchases
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). StudyBrite is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added by StudyBrite to the displayed price. Your payment provider may apply currency-conversion charges when you pay from another currency.
International purchases are permitted. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights or mandatory jurisdiction protections that apply in your home country.
5. Ordering and payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. StudyBrite does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. You are responsible for providing accurate payment and email information.
Your order is an offer to purchase the selected digital product. The contract is formed when Stripe confirms successful payment and StudyBrite accepts the order by making the digital product available and issuing the purchase confirmation. StudyBrite may decline or refund an order where payment has not completed, pricing or product information is clearly erroneous, fraud is suspected, or fulfilment cannot reasonably be completed.
6. Immediate supply and cancellation
StudyBrite workbooks are supplied immediately after successful payment. Before paying, you will be asked to expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that, once supply begins, you will lose the applicable 14-day right to cancel.
Your purchase confirmation records that consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium. This cancellation position does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
7. Statutory rights and remedies
Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose made known to StudyBrite where the law requires, and as described. If a workbook is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming, please contact StudyBrite. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any statutory consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
8. Delivery and download access
After successful payment, StudyBrite provides access through the success page and purchase email. The normal secure entitlement is available for 72 hours and may be used up to five times. These limits protect the product and download system; they do not reduce your statutory rights.
If a genuine purchaser’s access expires or is exhausted, they may contact StudyBrite. After reasonably verifying the purchase, StudyBrite may reissue access. Customers should download and securely retain their copy within the stated access period.
9. Duplicate purchases
If you accidentally purchase the identical product twice, contact StudyBrite promptly. StudyBrite may refund an obvious duplicate after verifying both purchases. This policy is additional to, and does not limit, statutory rights.
10. Personal and household licence
Your purchase includes a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal and household use. You may use and reasonably print the workbook for yourself or your child within your household.
The standard £6.99 household licence does not cover tutors, tuition centres, schools, classroom use or commercial teaching. Separate institutional or tutor licensing may be offered in future but is not included unless StudyBrite expressly agrees it in writing.
11. Intellectual property and prohibited use
StudyBrite retains copyright and all other intellectual-property rights in its workbooks, website content and branding. Purchasing a workbook grants the limited licence above; it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.
You must not forward, share, redistribute, resell, upload publicly, place on file-sharing services, remove or obscure licensing information, or make the digital file available outside your household. You must not reproduce the workbook for commercial teaching or organisational use without an appropriate written licence.
12. Your responsibilities and technical requirements
You are responsible for supplying a valid email address, keeping the secure link and downloaded file private, and using a device and current PDF reader capable of opening standard PDF files. Printing requires a suitable printer, paper and settings. StudyBrite is not responsible for limitations inherent in a customer’s device, software, printer, internet connection or third-party services, but will provide reasonable support with genuine delivery problems.
13. Educational outcomes
StudyBrite resources support practice and learning. They do not guarantee an examination score, school place or other educational outcome. Families should continue to check current information published by the relevant examination provider and schools.
14. Support and complaints
For download issues, product concerns, complaints or questions about a purchase, email hello@studybrite.co.uk. Please provide the purchase email address, product name and order reference where available. StudyBrite will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.
15. Liability
StudyBrite is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of breaching these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. StudyBrite is not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and purchases from StudyBrite are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers resident elsewhere retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply under the law of their home country.
17. Changes to these Terms
StudyBrite may update these Terms for future purchases. The version in force when your contract is formed applies to that purchase. Material contract information and your immediate-supply consent will be confirmed in your purchase email.
